Y volvieron - and they came back

This Saturday 15th of September Heroes del Silencio played again after 11 years out of the stages. It was in Guatemala, the place chosen for the start of this 10 concerts mini-tour with, according to them, will be a proper farewell. The big money they are going to earn had probably more to do with this though but, in any case, there they are, older and more wasted but, according to what could be seen in the centroamerican country, they are still able to produce this particular rock that, so long after they dissapeared, is still claiming new fans. I particularly dont give a shit about wheter they get along better or worse nor about Bunbury been more or less crazy, the important point is that I started to like their music when they were already gone so I am very hapy to see that I will have the chance to live a gig close to those they were performing by the 90s. Cause everybody has a favourite band and this is mine, songs like “Maldito Duende” or “Sirena Varada” I can listen to them a thousand times and never get tired. So it is time to celebrate the back of one of the biggest Spanish rock bands ever, figures say that and their music does not cause indiference to anyone, you love it or you hate it. So, if everything goes as planned, I will see them in Zaragoza, Sevilla and Valencia, this way I also do some national tourism after so much international stuff. And we will see if the reunion really stops in 10 shows or not, I new album would be ideal but it does not seem likely seen how different the evolution of the band components has been thourgh these decade they have been separated. So, for the time been let´s just enjoy the 2007 Tour

It seems quite unlikey that I will get the time, at least in this period of my life, that I need to tell you about my asian adventures. And it is a real pity since the trip had everyhing and quite a few histories deserved to be told. That is why I wont write a crappy summary, if some day lazy times are back I will try to dig into my memory and write something. In the meantime you can have a look at the big bunch of pictures I got out of the trip. Here you have some links in case you want to get an idea…
And I also want to use this post to thank people, firstly Juan Pedro who joined the trip coming from Dubai and specially to the ICEX great guys who hosted us in each of the cities. This would not have been possible witouth them and my house will always be open whenever you need it, I love you guys….
